Meet the Fundraising Team
Maggie Hood, PR and Communication, comes in two days a week to volunteer as the artistic input for the SJPC website, updating it, and creating the layout for the Newsletter. She is an able fundraiser, who has organised many events at St Joseph’s.
Thushari Thalgaswattage, Community Fundraiser and PR, also works here for two days a week teaching the Jewellery Course and Cookery. She was an active fundraiser during her University days, and is looking forward to putting her talents into action in her additional new role at St Joseph’s.
Clemency Evans, Freelance Trusts and Major Gifts Fundraiser, has considerable experience in all types of fundraising, and spent many years raising grants for international development organisations. She is in the office every Monday helping us to raise income from Trusts and Major Donors.
Auriel Bull, PR and Publications also a volunteer, is responsible for writing the Newsletter and publicity documents, updating the website. She has extensive experience of writing for the women’s consumer press in subjects as diverse as celebrity interviews and childcare.
