Sponsored Walk May 2011
On 22nd May we had our annual sponsored walk in Arnos Park and Broomfield Park, traditionally a chance to catch up with friends and supporters of St Joseph’s, and this year we also tried to raise additional funds suggesting a minimum sponsorship amount.
The social element is always important and people were happy to chat their way round the walk. There was a delicious tea afterwards at Our Lady of Lourdes Church Hall (see if you can spot the uninvited guests!). About 30 people attended the event and we made about £1,000. Many thanks to all those who supported and helped with the walk.
