Multicultural Day at St Joseph's, November 2010

We may only be a local charity but we have big ideas – and on Saturday 20th November we took on the world.  International flags festooned a fabulous venue, the Our Lady of Dolours Church Hall, people arrived in national dress, and pots of delicious exotic food simmered ready for our multi-cultural buffet.

We had Bollywood dancers, an Indogo dancer and an impromptu carol rendition.  We were also very lucky to have match funding from Barclays for this event, so that every pound we raised was equalled by them – Filomena Esposito, their representative very kindly came along to draw the raffle, and serve the buffet.  Many thanks to them, and Father Dominic for allowing us to use their Church hall.
