Carols by Candlelight, December 2010
We held our Carols by Candlelight concert at St Joseph's in the middle of December. The evening began in the chapel with a gospel drama performed by our students and carols from the Choir. The Choir led us to the lighting of the pear tree in front of the centre where everyone assembled with their candles and we remembered our loved ones. Then The St Joseph's Pastoral Musicians' Choir continued to entertain us with a selection of popular and traditional carols. Matthew Offord, the local MP assisted with the raffle and spoke warmly about St Joseph's. The evening was rounded off with mince pies and mulled wines and a chance to buy a selection of jewellery, pottery, horticulture and cards made by our students. Happy Christmas to everyone!
