Bollywood Day, October 2011
The first St Joseph's Bollywood Day took place in October. We were lucky enough to be able to use the Church hall opposite which was decked out in Bollywood colours and decorations created by our students. Rice and curries were enjoyed to a backdrop of Bollywood music. Thushari's Bollywood troupe entertained us with a wonderful display of dancing and then invited us all to join in. There was a Fashion Show and also a demonstration of how North and South Indian saris are worn. An Indian sun was surely shining down on Hendon that day. Thank you to all who took part to make it such a fun day.
