About Us
Working in the Archdiocese for thirty years, St. Joseph’s Pastoral Centre is entrusted with the support of people with learning disabilities, their families and friends. It is an agency in the Department for Pastoral Affairs, having its own Management Committee which acts as a ‘critical friend’. Director, John Coleby, is supported by an operations team, including Finance, Fundraising, Administration and Catering.

We have two main areas of work:
- our Activity Centre which offers courses – therapeutic, vocational or leisure – to over 100 mainly adult students of all faiths or none in the attractive Centre at Hendon, and
- our Outreach Service where our Outreach Co-ordinators and volunteers support families in the parishes in their spiritual and social life
